**Guests are welcome to play from 10:30am until lights out. They are required to sign a waiver form and pay a $10 fee at the gatekeepers’ station, located at the South courts, between 10:30am and noon.  In the afternoon, please see our court attendant.

Pickleball University, Inc. is licensed by the City of Vero Beach to operate this facility as a not for profit club. The club alone re-furbished and maintains these courts.

We offer open play 7 days a week, from 8am until lights out at 10pm, and drop-In guests are welcome to play all day for $10, with some exceptions.**

Guests are required to sign a waiver form and pay the $10 fee at the gatekeepers’ station, located at the South courts, between 8am and noon. In the afternoon, please see our court attendant.

Please follow the club’s posted rules. If you have questions, ask a gatekeeper, court attendant or a club member.

At this time, the club welcomes you to become a member. A new member pays a $200 club initiation fee, along with a $100 membership fee. With tax: $321. You may obtain an application to fill out at the courts from a gatekeeper or court attendant, or join online at the PickleU.com website.

**Note: There will be days when our courts are reserved for MEMBERS ONLY play. Be sure to ask the gatekeeper what is happening on a specific day. You may also check our online calendar at: www.pickleu.com

Examples: Round Robins have six courts reserved from 10:00am to 11:30am every Thursday and Friday, 8:00am-9:30am. Our level one round robin may have room for drop-in guests. Please check with the person running the round robin. You will be required to sign waiver and pay $10 fee.

 wristbands will not be sold at the courts when the courts are lit in the evening. If a member plans on bringing a visiting guest or family member, they should purchase a wristband for their guest earlier that day.

Level ONE Round Robin – Thursday @ Poco

We will have two levels. Level 1, on Thursday will be for those individuals who are relatively new to the game and Level 2, on Friday for a more competitive style of play.

There is room for 28 players on each level. First come, first serve. You can only play ONE level per week.

SIX COURTS WILL BE RESERVED FOR ROUND ROBIN PLAY AND ALL MEMBERS MUST VISIBLY WEAR THEIR WRISTBANDS

Sign up begins at 11:10. Sign Up, and have a number assigned. * Only the RR manager will sign you up*

-This is a Members First Event – If there is space, drop-ins may play for $10 fee-

Everyone’s safety is our club’s priority. Players agree not to attend if they are sick or have symptoms or exposure risks as listed by the CDC guidelines.

Players PLEASE bring reusable water bottles to reduce waste since recycling is not offered on site

 Please thank Dave Moscrip, Dave Caswell, Kate Hoffmann, Maureen Labadie for volunteering to run these programs.  If these volunteers did not step forward, you would not be able to play in this very fun program.  There will be days that these volunteers may need backups. Please do your part and step up and help. They will show you what needs to be done.

Anyone interested in learning the basics of this game is welcome to sign up and learn about pickleball: the USA’s fastest growing sport. Equipment is provided.
Proper footwear is required. Bring water, sunscreen, wear a hat or visor and eye protection.

Pickleball 102: HOW THE GAME IS PLAYED @ Poco

You just finished your first beginners PB101 clinic. Now what do you do? Learn and play a game supervised with a certified instructor guiding you along.

You will learn scoring, serving, etiquette, court positioning and game play strategy.

Wear court shoes. Bring water and sunscreen, wear a hat or visor and eye protection
