HIGHER EDUCATION FOR PICKELBALL UNIVERSITY STUDENTS
Now that you’ve decided to major in Pickleball, are you ready to graduate with a Bachelor’s degree? Become a Master or even a Doctor of Pickleball Arts? Then it’s time for you to enroll in lessons with one of our tenured Pickleball professors. These spin and win doctors can teach you the smart game. They will help you groove high percentage shots, learn how to anticipate and defend and “put your shot where they’re not.”
Pickleball can take a day to learn but a lifetime to master. So go for a higher degree of skill and learn a new lesson in fun.

John Conner is a IPTPA certified coach.
Clare Grabher comes from a tennis background, having been a British Junior Champion and played at Wimbledon as well as being the co-owner of New England Tennis Holidays, an adult tennis camp in New England for the past 30 years.
Since discovering the wonderful game of pickleball (at Pickleball University!), tennis has taken a back seat. Clare was the Gold Medalist in the USAPA National Singles (55+) in 2016 in Arizona, was a silver medalist in the 2017 US Open Senior Pro Singles event (50 and over) in Naples, FL, and recently won the Huntsman World Senior Games Singles (55+) and earned a Silver Medal in the Mixed Doubles (55+) in Utah, and won Gold in the 2017 USAPA Nationals 55+ singles and women’s doubles in Arizona”.
Clare is an IPTPA certified professional and loves sharing her love of the game with students here in Florida and in her summer home in New Hampshire.

Paul Woodman combines his professional teaching background with his Pickleball skills and knowledge to give each student a fun and rewarding training session. Each lesson is planned with specific skills important to you using practice drills that are proven to work and improve your game. Lessons are individualized for the basic beginner to the player wanting to get to the next level.

Pickleball 101 (PB101)
This introduction to the general public. Anyone interested in learning the basics of this game is welcome to sign up and learn about pickleball, the USA’s fastest growing sport.
Equipment provided. Lesson: Paddle Grip, Serving, Dinking and most of all HAVING FUN!

PB102 Clinic on Saturday
You just finished your first beginners 101 clinic, now what do you do? Learn and play the game with an instructor guiding you along. You will learn scoring, serving, etiquette and where you need to be on the court, etc.
This class is very small, up to 8 students only, so you will have personalized instruction. Classes are offered on Saturdays 1:00-2:00 pm. Cost is $10 per person

Skills Clinic Series:
Coaches Paul, Clare and John will be teaching a skills clinic series starting December 4. Every other week, a new topic will be presented for members, from serves, return of serves, ground stokes, partner strategies just to name a few.
Now here’s the great part: each one of these topics will be address to level specific. Monday will be for beginners, Wednesday will be for intermediate, Friday will be for advanced. Each clinic will be from 8:00-8:50. $10 per person with a 12 participants max. Members only!

Ratings and Evaluations:
Sign ups in groups of 4 ( minimum of 2 needed for the class to go) Please make sure to include your phone number in case we need to reach you.
1 Hours Session with Coach Paul Woodman and Coach John Conner
Each participant will put through a series of Instructor evaluated court skill drills which will include: Serving, Return Serve, Ground Strokes, Dinking, Volley, Third Shot Drop.
Each participant will also participate in instructor observed game play observing etiquette, strategy, shot selection, positioning.
Participants will be assigned a Player Level Rating including an Evaluation Summary.
*It is recommended that participants arrive early to stretch and warm up.
