Thanks to Randy Singer for taking the time to GoPro matches and upload them to our club FB page. Watching yourself play, can be a very helpful in improving your game. You'll see positioning, movement with partners, your good shots and your bad. We here at PBU strive to improve. I like to say we are "students of the game". If you'd like to see your play, beginner or advanced, just ask Randy. I'm sure he would be happy to GoPro a match or two.
Welcome to March Madness at the courts. High season is here as we all have seen by the number of paddles in the box. Open play days have been extremely busy until around 11:30. We have welcomed almost one dozen drop in players per day also.
Some members have been coming later in the morning and staying until early afternoon. also, some of you have formed small groups that meet in the afternoon when the courts are less busy. That's great!
Another thing to keep in mind, even though we have round robins on M-W-F the courts open up at around 10:30. Also, beginners usually occupies 6 courts and advanced rarely uses 6 courts. Intermediates will use almost all 12 courts.
So keep this in mind when you're planning your schedule for play.
By popular demand, the BEGINNERS and INTERMEDIATES have volunteers that stepped up and will continue the program until the end of April.
For Advanced, Dave Caswell and Juanita Burns will be taking over until the end of April.
The players thank you for you time!
We have seen lots of great play. Remember if you want to play, be at the courts at 8:45, play starts at 9am. . So come out and play. First 24 in each division.
Monday - Beginners and Advanced Beginners
Wednesday- Intermediate and Advanced Intermediate
Friday - Advanced 3.5 players (3.0 if you won a medal(s) in a tournament ) and 4.0+

Get to the NVZ!
Get your team to the kitchen line ASAP!
The team at the NVZ has a huge advantage over the team in the back court so keep your opponent in back as long as possible. Hit deep shots into their back-court. Try to keep them at the baseline and prevent them from advancing to the net.
