Financials
The club is in very good financial shape thanks to your memberships and donations.
The money the Club receives as membership dues or donations goes right back into the facilities to improve our club. As a non-profit, the board has the responsibility to consider projected revenues and balance them against expected expenses. The board also attempts to anticipate capital improvement projects such as court repairs or resurfacing so that funds are available for such projects. Our lights and recent landscaping projects are examples. Please consult the financial statements for additional information which are provided quarterly to all members.
The Club’s License Agreement with the City of Vero Beach which began on January 1, 2020, gives the Club greater exclusive access to its activities. The Agreement also requires the Club to take more financial responsibility over the physical courts and more legal liability arising from our use of the courts.
The Club increased membership fees to be better prepared for its future financial needs in 2021 by raising the initiation fee for new members. As of now, our $107 annual fee remains the same as it has for several years. This, along with other forms of revenue or expenses is closely monitored to make sure there are sufficient resources available.
Any member may request in writing or through e-mail any specific financial information they desire.
